Kinesio Taping
Kinesio (K) tape can be used on damaged or injured tissues. When tape is applied to an injured area the elasticity of the tape lift the skin creating space between the skin and structures below. This increase lymphatic drainage meaning excess fluid can be removed from the damaged area quick. The tape also reduces pain and improves bloody flow, feeding the area with oxygen nutrients accelerating the healing process.
